Seven years ago my husband accepted a new job and we moved from South Jersey to a town north of Atlanta. Because of the move I created a family blog in order to keep our extended family updated on what was happening in our lives and to watch our boys grow. Unfortunately, I was extremely awful at keeping that blog up to date. Cross your fingers this time is a little better.
Our "boys" are now 16 and 17, a junior and senior in HS, and I feel like this is the beginning of the next chapter of our lives. The kids have their own car, they work, they play lacrosse, and are pretty self sufficient. I look around and say, what now? I look at my husband and he says, I dunno....
So, I guess this is what the start of "next" looks like. First, what I'd like to do is introduce you to our family. We have myself (Heather), my husband (Phil), our son Phil (aka 'lil Phil although he's 6'2"), and Jeff. Also gracing us with their presence are our dogs Sarah the German Shepherd and Morgan the Pug, as well as three rescue kitties - Crash, Annabelle, and Spike. And finally we have a gold fish hanging out in our pond, although his two other buddies weren't so lucky.
